- Perform basic welding tasks and assist with facility upgrades such as painting or minor construction projects.
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future repairs.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, or mechanical equipment.
- Assist in inspecting facilities using schematics and technical manuals to identify issues accurately.
- Support supervising staff during larger projects or when overseeing contractors in residential painting or other specialized tasks.
Qualifications
- Basic electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and use tools like ohmmeters effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge related to building systems or manufacturing equipment.
- Hands-on experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, welding, or painting.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking is preferred.
