Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our Town Docks Team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service, expert drink preparation, and a lively atmosphere. Town Docks is located on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee. Come enjoy a Summer Outside at Dox!
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales opportunities
- Manage the Micros POS for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and responsible alcohol service, adhering to all legal requirements
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or light meals in a fine dining or nightclub setting
- Handle cash transactions efficiently using basic math skills and retail math principles, including cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Support catering or banquet events by preparing drinks and managing bar service in large or private event settings
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours while managing time effectively
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a high volume restaurant
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in the food industry
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math applications
