Cashier Job Description
Cashiers provide fast, friendly, and accurate check out services for our customers using computerized cash register systems. Accuracy and basic math skills are important, as is the ability to memorize product identification codes and weekly ad specials. Cashiers often bag their customers' orders and help shoppers find items in the store. They assist in the restocking, cleaning and dusting of the check stands and surrounding areas and may take “return” products back to proper shelf locations. They are responsible for the accounting of all receipts and type of funds handled.
Duties:
Greet and assist customers; weigh, scan, and package groceries; handle cash and operate terminal; clean work area and other duties as assigned.

Standing, Reaching, Stooping, Kneel, Bending, Move, Communicate
Basic Math Skills
Requirements:
Frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
