Town and Country Move Management (TCMM), a division of Town & Country Movers, Inc., is seeking to build upon our 45 years of award-winning customer service excellence by providing a total turn-key approach to our quality move services. With leadership from several area boutique move management companies providing over 15 years each in experience, TCMM provides its clients with the highest standards of customer service and professional move management in the industry. With roots in senior move management, we excel at helping older adults move forward while honoring their past.

TCMM is currently seeking a full-time Client Specialist to join our team. If you have a passion for helping people and a talent for managing projects, this is an opportunity to use your skills and passion. The position is on location in our Gaithersburg, MD office.

Job Summary:

As a Client Specialist, your main responsibility is to meticulously plan and oversee all aspects of client projects. You will manage and coordinate projects, taking charge of organization, scheduling, and implementation throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring the smooth completion of each task.

Essential Functions:

  • Demonstrates and applies the highest level of customer service throughout all stages of the client's project.
  • Conducts initial discovery process to understand client needs and schedule appropriate sales method to meet clients needs.
  • Works with TCMM sales to establish a customized plan that aligns with the client's objectives using available tools and resources.
  • Assist sales with creation of floorplans using professional floor planning software.
  • Takes accountability for client experience, adherence to timelines and estimates, addressing requests, and upholding the core values of Town and Country Move Management.
  • Prepares projects for execution by Project Managers, anticipating needs proactively to ensure seamless delivery of services and establishing best practices and processes to support operations.
  • Collaborates with Sales and Operations teams, preparing for projects, reviewing client information, and addressing any issues or special requirements in advance.
  • Supports Sales team in building trusted relationships with key account players in the community by providing quality customer service and communicating in a timely manner.
  • Interprets and explains project plans to project Team Members and Movers, assigning specific responsibilities based on their knowledge and experience.
  • Ensures the availability of adequate supplies and materials for the team to complete the project.
  • Assists in coordinating external vendors such as donation partners, repair teams, and shipping partners.
  • Handles unexpected issues as they arise, maintaining confidence and composure while assuring the client that a solution will be reached. Implements appropriate solutions tailored to the client's needs and ensures timely resolution of the issue. Completes administrative tasks promptly and accurately.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Business, Project Management, Communications, or similar field with 2 year’s experience in related field a plus
  • Detail-orientated with ability to work in a time-sensitive environment managing multiple projects.
  • Full-time on site with occasional ability to work remote when necessary.
  • Professional, non-judgmental, positive “can do” spirit with a helpful demeanor.
  • Effective team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and maintains a high level of confidentiality.
  • Interior or graphic design skill a plus
