Job Summary:

The Claims Analyst will handle and resolve loss and damage claims related to household and commercial moves. This role requires strong attention to detail, empathy in customer interactions, and the ability to evaluate and resolve claims efficiently while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

Review and process customer loss and damage claims accurately and promptly. Investigate claims by collecting documentation such as inventories, estimates, photos, and crew or driver statements. Communicate professionally with customers, operations staff, and third-party vendors throughout the claims process. Evaluate liability and determine fair settlement recommendations based on valuation coverage and applicable policies. Prepare settlement letters, coordinate repairs or replacements, and maintain thorough records in the claims management system. Identify trends and collaborate with the operations team to reduce future claims. Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in claims processing (moving or logistics industry preferred).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong problem-solving ability with high attention to detail.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and claims management systems.

Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
