Position Overview

Town & Country is seeking a compassionate, highly organized, and relationship-focused Project Manager to support a long-term specialty client service program.

This role combines project management, professional organizing, client advocacy, and hands-on support to help clients maintain safe, functional, and sustainable living environments. The primary focus of this role is working with long-term clients who experience chronic disorganization and a strong emotional attachment to belongings. Success requires empathy, consistency, sound judgment, and the ability to build trust while maintaining steady progress toward established goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the dedicated Project Manager and primary point of contact for ongoing organization and maintenance projects.
  • Plan visit objectives, establish priorities with the client, and guide the project from preparation through follow-up.
  • Create and maintain practical organization systems throughout the residence.
  • Help the client sort, categorize, store, donate, or responsibly dispose of belongings while respecting the client’s decision-making process.
  • Box, inventory, and transport approved donations to onsite storage or designated collection areas.
  • Perform light household-support tasks within scope, including dusting, wiping surfaces, organizing, and maintaining orderly work areas.
  • Handle all belongings thoughtfully and communicate with the client before moving or reorganizing personal items.
  • Document project progress through accurate notes, photographs, inventories, and reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and exceptional customer service during every interaction.
  • Lead and manage ongoing client service projects from planning through completion.
  • Maintain organization systems and assist with ongoing project maintenance.

  • Attend training sessions and meetings.
  • Support additional move management, organizing, downsizing, packing, unpacking, and specialty projects as assigned.

  • Hands on experience working with Abundance Management & Chronic Disorganization

  • Ability to assess the client’s space, routines, priorities, and organizational challenges to develop personalized, sustainable solutions.
  • Ability to break long-term goals into manageable steps and define realistic measures of progress for each visit.
  • Ability to guide decision-making without pressure, allowing the client to remain actively involved in choices about their belongings.
  • Ability to redirect conversations respectfully and help the client remain focused on agreed-upon project goals.
  • Ability to serve as an accountability partner by reinforcing routines, tracking progress, and celebrating incremental accomplishments.
  • Ability to adapt organization systems to the client’s abilities, lifestyle, available space, and changing needs.
  • Experience recognizing potential safety concerns, including blocked walkways, sanitation issues, or unsafe accumulation, and report concerns through the appropriate internal channels.
  • Knowledge to coordinate with approved family members, service providers, donation resources, and internal departments when required by the project plan.

Client Care Expectations:

  • Build trust through consistency, reliability, patience, and clear communication.
  • Provide calm structure while recognizing that progress may be gradual and measured differently from a traditional organizing project.
  • Remain comfortable supporting clients who experience anxiety related to possessions, illness, germs, or change.
  • Balance project momentum with the client’s emotional comfort and confidence.
  • Adjust the approach when priorities or emotional responses change while maintaining the established scope of work.

Health & Safety Expectations

  • Because the primary client has heightened health concerns, the Project Manager must follow all client specific infection-prevention protocols during every visit.
  • Use required personal protective equipment, which may include a face mask, gloves, shoe covers, protective gown, and hair covering, as directed by Operations.
  • Complete any required pre-visit health screening or testing and promptly communicate potential exposure or illness concerns.
  • Follow safe work practices and escalate environmental, sanitation, or physical hazards before work continues.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
