Town & Country Early Learning Center is looking for reliable teachers and assistant teachers to staff our center in Colchester.
Experience working in a NAEYC Accredited program preferred. Applicants must be interested in supporting our mission to provide a nurturing, educational, and secure environment for young children.
Teacher and Assistant Teacher Responsibilities include:
- Supervises and educates 8 to 10 children
- Works cooperatively with T&C teaching team
- Maintains Office of Early Childhood and NAEYC standards
- Provides effective classroom management
- Communicates daily with parents
- Interacts with children in a respectful, supportive manner
- Plans and implements curriculum and classroom activities
- Prepares and conducts parent/teacher conferences
- Demonstrates professionalism, dependability, and punctuality
- 40 hour work week, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break daily
Teacher Qualifications include:
- Teachers must hold an AS or BA/BS in ECE or a related field with at least 12 ECE credits
- Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a NAEYC Accredited program preferred
- Must have reliable transportation
Assistant Teacher Qualifications include:
- Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Must have reliable transportation
