Lot Porter for Town Toyota

Town Toyota is looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Full Time Lot Porter. To be successful in this role, employees will manage various tasks on a daily basis to ensure great customer service and that our operations run smoothly. The Lot Porter is responsible for keeping dealership vehicles and lot areas clean, organized, and customer‑ready. This role supports the sales team by preparing vehicles for test drives, showroom display, and customer delivery while ensuring all vehicles are handled safely and professionally

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Wash, dry, and maintain display vehicles weekly; clean additional vehicles as needed.
• Keep the lot, wash bay, and exterior areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Safely move, park, and operate vehicles following Washington state driving rules.
• Prepare vehicles for customer pick‑up and assist with deliveries.
• Ensure vehicles have proper stickers, tags, key boxes, and fuel levels.
• Report any vehicle defects, safety concerns, or maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with snow removal and seasonal outdoor duties.
• Follow all dealership safety guidelines and operate only trained/approved equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License or equivalent is required to support dealership operations.
• All licenses must be converted to a Washington State License within 30 days of employment.
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work shift work and weekends as required
• Ability to work outdoors year‑round and handle physical tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
  
  

Work Environment:

As part of the essential duties, this position requires operating motor vehicles. The employee’s essential duties are such that impairment caused by drug or alcohol could result in significant injury or death.
