As an ARLO Food Runner, you’ll be the critical link between the kitchen and our guests, delivering beautifully plated dishes with finesse and a touch of hospitality magic. Pay Rate $17.25 #TowncountrySDThis position will be mainly in the afternoon with some flexibility to work brunch (7:00 - 3:00 PM) on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring orders are delivered promptly and accurately to our guests.
• Maintaining a deep understanding of our menu to answer basic guest questions.
• Assisting servers by resetting tables and preparing for the next guests.
• Keeping the dining area tidy and organized, supporting the overall flow of service.
• Collaborating closely with the kitchen and serving team to ensure top-tier service.

Qualifications

• Thrives in high-pressure environments with a smile and a sense of urgency.
• Has impeccable attention to detail and a knack for presentation.
• Can communicate effectively with both team members and guests.
• Brings prior experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant (preferred, but not required).

Physical Requirements:This role requires a high level of physical activity to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience. You must be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
• Lift and carry trays of food, dishes, and beverages weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Bend, stoop, and reach to retrieve and deliver items.
• Navigate a bustling dining area and kitchen with ease and awareness.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining poise and professionalism.
