Join our team as the Property Manager for a 300-unit apartment community! We’re seeking an experienced, certified Property Manager who is a proactive leader with a strong commitment to resident satisfaction, financial management, and team leadership. 5-10 years property management and Appfolio experience preferred. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of property management to ensure smooth operations, high occupancy rates, and a positive community environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Operations: Ensure the day-to-day operations of the community run efficiently, including leasing, maintenance, and resident services.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage property budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures. Responsible for rent collection, accounts payable, and expense tracking.
- Tenant Relations: Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents, addressing concerns and maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction.
- Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise onsite staff, fostering a team-oriented culture and ensuring alignment with company values.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including Fair Housing laws and Washington state property management requirements.
- AppFolio Management: Utilize AppFolio software for property management tasks, including work order tracking, tenant communication, and financial reporting.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years in property management, with experience managing a large apartment community (100 units preferred).
- AppFolio Expertise: Proficiency with AppFolio property management software is required.
- Certification: Active Property Management certification, such as CPM (Certified Property Manager), ARM (Accredited Residential Manager), or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of Washington state tenant laws is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred but not required.
