We're looking for a Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team at Town & Country Credit Union. Someone who's motivated, knowledgeable, and ready to make an impact by helping our members secure the right home loan, the right way.
What You'll Do:
- Build Relationships: Establish trust with members, realtors, contractors, and other referral partners. You're the go-to mortgage expert they rely on.
- Drive Business: Prospect new mortgage opportunities through social media, open houses, community events, and direct outreach.
- Educate Members: Interview borrowers to understand their needs and guide them through available mortgage products.
- Manage the Process: Gather and analyze financial information, prepare accurate loan applications, and ensure timely disclosures and compliance.
- Close Loans: Collaborate with the origination team, attend closings, and celebrate with your members when the keys are in hand!
- Mentor & Support: Share your expertise with fellow mortgage employees and help grow our internal talent.
- Stay Sharp: Keep up with lending regulations, secondary market guidelines, and industry trends.
- Be a Brand Ambassador: Represent Town & Country Credit Union with professionalism, integrity and heart for service.
What You Bring:
- At least 4–6 years of successful mortgage or sales experience
- Strong working knowledge of mortgage lending processes and secondary market requirements
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Confidence with Microsoft Office and digital mortgage tools
- Proven ability to meet or exceed production goals
- A passion for helping others and making a difference in your community
