We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated Manufacturing Assembly Person / Production Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on position with significant room for advancement for the right person. We are looking for someone interested in learning our products and processes, taking on increasing responsibility, and potentially growing into a key role within Mobile Control Systems.

For someone dependable who takes ownership of their work, this has the potential to

become a long-term career opportunity rather than simply an assembly job.

What You'll Do:

  • Assemble and build parts and finished products according to specifications
  • Properly and safely use hand tools and power tools
  • Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process
  • Inspect finished products to make sure they look right, function correctly, and

meet our quality standards

  • Work efficiently to meet daily production goals
  • Follow established manufacturing and safety procedures
  • Assist with other production and shop duties as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Dependable and punctual — we need someone we can count on
  • Self-motivated and able to stay productive without constant supervision
  • Willing and able to learn multiple aspects of the operation
  • Interested in taking on additional responsibility as they gain experience
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to small details
  • Comfortable working with your hands and using tools
  • Able to follow instructions and learn new processes
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to maintain a clean and safe working environment

Experience

Previous manufacturing, factory, mechanical, or assembly experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Experience with QuickBooks is also a plus, particularly as this position has the opportunity to grow into broader responsibilities within the Mobile Control Systems operation.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is negotiable and will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Following successful completion of the applicable probationary period, employees are eligible for benefits including:

  • Internal doctor/medical care plan
  • Dental coverage
  • Vision coverage
  • Access to a health insurance marketplace
  • 401(k) retirement plan

Additional details regarding eligibility, coverage, and plan options will be provided during the hiring process.

Opportunity for Growth

This position offers real room for advancement. Our goal is to find someone who can learn the manufacturing and day-to-day operation of Mobile Control Systems and gradually take on greater responsibility.

The right person will have the opportunity to become highly knowledgeable about our products, customers, production processes, and overall operation. Initiative, reliability, and a willingness to learn will be rewarded with increased responsibility and opportunities for advancement.
