Accounting Clerk – Accounts Receivable

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our corporate accounting team. This position will be responsible for Accounts Receivable functions for seven Harley-Davidson dealerships. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-store environment.
Responsibilities
- Process and post customer payments accurately and timely.
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable balances across seven dealership locations.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Prepare daily deposits and cash receipts.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Process manufacturer receivables, warranty receivables, and other dealership-related receivables.
- Reconcile schedules and general ledger accounts.
- Work closely with dealership Office Managers, Controllers, and department managers.
- Assist with month-end closing and audit requests.
- Maintain accurate financial records while ensuring company policies are followed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience is required.
- Dealership accounting experience (automotive, powersports, RV, or marine) is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with dealership management systems such as Lightspeed, IDS, or similar is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
