Position Summary
Tower Three is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Lead Trimmer / Trim
Supervisor to lead our post-harvest trimming operations. This is a working supervisor
position, the successful candidate will spend the majority of their time trimming
alongside the team while providing leadership, training, quality control, and daily
production oversight. The role is responsible for ensuring production goals are met
while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with cannabis industry experience who thrives in
a fast-paced production environment and is committed to developing a high-performing
team.
Key Responsibilities
- Personally perform cannabis trimming on a daily basis while leading by example
and assisting the team in meeting production goals.
- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of cannabis trimmers.
- Assign daily workloads and monitor productivity to ensure production targets are
achieved.
- Inspect finished product to ensure it meets company quality standards for
appearance, consistency, and compliance.
- Track daily production metrics, yields, and employee productivity.
- Ensure all trimming, weighing, packaging, and inventory procedures comply with
state regulations and company SOPs.
- Work closely with Cultivation, Packaging, and Compliance teams to coordinate
workflow.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency while minimizing waste.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
- Enforce all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
- Coach employees through performance issues and recognize strong
performance.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and employee development.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in commercial cannabis production preferred.
- Previous experience leading a small production team or serving as a team lead
preferred.
- Strong understanding of cannabis trimming techniques and quality standards.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using METRC or other cannabis inventory systems is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Must meet all Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission employment
requirements.
