Job Description
Maintain test wafer in the fab to ensure all fab operations have a good supply of high-quality test wafers. Put standardized test wafer procedures across the fab. Monitor test wafer inventories and order more wafers, as necessary. Ensure all test wafers are moving smoothly through the recycle process. Contact engineering about test wafer lots that are on hold and need engineering assistance. Put standardized test wafer procedures across the fab. New Part ID test wafers into allowed new test wafer parts to reuse test wafers. Monitor test wafer usage and maintain usage goals month to month. Work with engineering to perform simple tests to improve test wafer cleans for better quality wafers. Learn and use Epsilon test wafer inventory system. A primary responsibility in the position is to reduce overall test wafer costs.

This Job Is For You If
- Can monitor and maintain test wafer inventories.
- Can monitor quality of incoming test wafers and recycled test wafers.
- Can work collaboratively with process engineering, equipment engineer, and production to address any test wafer issues.
- Can perform test wafer metrology measurements to verify test wafer quality when needed.
- Can help develop and implement Epsilon for detailed usage of test wafers across the fab
- Requires at least one year experience as fab operator, 5 to 10 years preferred.
- Ability to learn process flows and a good understanding of Promis.
- Some knowledge of semiconductor wafer processing.
- Some knowledge of SPC, and various fab metrology tools.
- Demonstrated good working relationship with managers, engineering, and maintenance.
- Experience with MS tools - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
