Warehouse Picker/Packer

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist in verifying the correct product is being shipped to the customer 

• Completed/picked orders to be packed & shipped 

• Receive inbound packages, check documentation of package content, and communicate 

   any miscounts 

• Moving pallets by hand, hand truck, electric pallet jack, or manual pallet jack. 

• Shrink wrapping goods for loading onto trailers 

• Ensuring that the correct labels are on all packages 

• Load and unload trucks from ground level or platforms 

• Use computer equipment 

• Stocking incoming orders 

• Organizing stock in the warehouse.

requirements/characteristics of a successful warehouse associate: 

• Time and Attendance consistency 

• Solid work ethic

• Attentive to detail 

• Good communication skills (verbally, written) 

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment 

• Ability to lift, carry and handle (repetitively) merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.* 

adhering to safe lifting guidance (with or without a reasonable accommodation) 

• Ability to be on your feet (standing, walking) for 90-95% of the day 

• Basic Math skills 

• Use of technology – to check inventory, scan labels when shipping 

• Ability to work within warehouse environment (noise/temperature variances, etc.)
