Our client, a large Personal Injury Firm with offices in DE , is seeking a lawyer to serve as a Pre-Suit Attorney in their growing Wilmington, DE office.
This is an in office role 5 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day handling of allpre-litigation work
- Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval
- Guide clients through the case process
- Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents
- Complete TD approval for liability issues
- Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
- Manage the release approval process
- Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers
- Focus on Personal injury cases primarily motor vehicle cases.
- Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team
- EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements
Requirements
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- An active member in good standing with the State Bar of DE
- 2 years of personal injury experience
- Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
- Desire to become part of a trial team
