Position: Commercial Litigation Attorney (Hybrid – NYC)
Location: Wall Street, New York, NY (Hybrid: On-site Monday–Thursday, Remote Fridays)

Employment Type: Full-Time, 1700 billable hour requirement
Overview:
A respected boutique litigation firm in Manhattan’s Financial District is seeking an experienced attorney with 7–12 years of commercial litigation expertise. This role requires prior courtroom experience, including arguing motions. Candidates with backgrounds limited to personal injury or residential landlord-tenant matters will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload of commercial disputes, including business conflicts and lease-related litigation
- Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and substantive motions
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and administrative forums
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of litigation experience focused on commercial and/or real estate matters
- Proven courtroom experience is essential
- Active New York State Bar membership in good standing
- Strong legal writing and research skills
- Ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines
- Experience handling matters from inception through trial in both state and federal courts
Preferred Background:
- Prior experience with Manhattan or Long Island firms
