Inpatient Pharmacy Tech - Per Diem

Job Summary

The pharmacy technician under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmacy services to special populations including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and young adults. The pharmacy technician assists in all pharmacy operations functions in compliance with department and hospital policies and procedures, to provide optimal pharmaceutical care. The pharmacy technician under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist is responsible for the preparation, dispensing, distribution, and delivery of medications including non-sterile products and sterile products.
Qualifications

Education Requirements

• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
• High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education

Certification and Licensure

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required upon hire or within the first 6 months of employment
