- Provide inpatient psychiatric care to adult and adolescent patients during weekend coverage
- Conduct rounding, clinical follow ups, and psychiatric evaluations as needed
- Manage psychopharmacologic treatment, including medication adjustments and side effect monitoring
- Collaborate with nursing, social work, therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Address acute psychiatric needs, behavioral concerns, and stabilization issues during weekend hours
- Support continuity of care through clear documentation and communication with weekday psychiatric providers
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record
- Adhere to all ethical, legal, regulatory, and organizational standards of psychiatric practice
- Weekend coverage only (Saturday and Sunday)
- Daytime rounding and on site unit presence
- No routine weekday responsibilities
- Call expectations, if any, can be structured based on candidate availability
- Schedule and coverage scope customizable based on experience and preferences

- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
- Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
- Current, unrestricted DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
- Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.
- Experience providing inpatient psychiatric care to adult and/or adolescent populations Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training strongly preferred for candidates covering adolescent units
- Comfort managing acute psychiatric presentations across age groups
- Experience working within multidisciplinary hospital based teams
