Waitress/Bartender

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and personable Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. We are looking for a fun, reliable, dedicated worker. Must be able to work independently and multi-task. Nights and weekends are required.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Engage with guests to provide personalized service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with sanitation standards
• Manage a POS system for order processing and billing
• Upsell drinks and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages
• Assist with food service when necessary, including food handling, and serving
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols at all times
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours, including bussing tables and supporting host/host duties when required
• Stocking and cashiering the Liquor Store side while working the bar when necessary

Skills

• Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant server, bartender, or hospitality professional
• Proficiency with POS systems
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries effectively
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Experience preferred but not required
• Ability to lift 20lbs
• Can work independently
