Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Title Clerk role based in Schenectady, NY. The Automotive Title Clerk is responsible for processing vehicle titles, registrations, and related documentation accurately and in compliance with state and local regulations. Weekly tasks may include preparing and submitting title paperwork, maintaining detailed records, billing deals, stocking vehicles in, pictures of vehicles. The role also involves calculating fees, handling title transfers, tracking lien releases, and ensuring all documents are complete and properly filed. The Automotive Title Clerk collaborates with sales and finance teams to support smooth vehicle deliveries and provides clear, professional communication to internal staff and customers.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and external partners.
- Candidates should possess experience handling official documents, signatures, and secure financial or legal processes.
- Candidates should possess basic Accounting skills to calculate fees, reconcile transactions, and ensure accurate financial records related to titles and registrations.

- Proficiency with Verifi System and dealership or title processing systems, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
