Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles that are broken down, damaged, or illegally parked to the designated location.
Duties
- Drive tow truck to the specified location for vehicle pick-up
- Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck
- Provide excellent customer service to clients in distress
- Perform basic automotive repairs if needed
- Operate manual transmission vehicles proficiently
- Utilize conflict management skills when dealing with challenging situations
- Possess mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with vehicles
- Handle commercial driving tasks efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience in operating a tow truck is a plus
- Proficiency in using forklifts for loading and unloading vehicles is desirable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
