Davenports Towing, a Tow Pro company, is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development & Sales Representative to support our continued growth in the Memphis market. This individual will be responsible for developing new business relationships, maintaining existing accounts, and expanding Tow Pro’s presence among commercial, fleet, municipal, and transportation partners throughout the Memphis area.
Tow Pro is a leading towing, recovery, and specialized transport provider serving Tennessee with 24/7 dispatch operations, a large and diverse fleet, and a strong reputation for safety, reliability, and response time. The Memphis market is a key growth area for our organization, and this role will play a critical part in expanding our commercial and fleet partnerships.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with fleet managers, commercial accounts, municipalities, logistics companies, dealerships, repair facilities, and transportation providers
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships through consistent communication and in-person visits
- Work closely with operations and dispatch teams to ensure service expectations are met and accounts are properly supported
- Maintain and grow existing accounts while actively seeking new partnerships
- Track and manage sales activity, prospecting efforts, and account progress using CRM tools
- Assist in developing local marketing and outreach strategies to support business growth in the Memphis region
- Represent Tow Pro and Davenports professionally in the community, at industry events, and during client meetings
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales activity and revenue goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of business development, sales, or account management experience (transportation, logistics, automotive, fleet services, or related industry preferred)
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies
- Comfortable with in-person meetings, networking, and local travel
- CRM experience (HubSpot or similar) is a plus
