What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brand Designer position at TOV Furniture?
We're a design-first furniture brand with a loud point of view, a catalog people save, and a growing cultural footprint. We're hiring a Brand Designer to own how TOV looks across every surface our customer meets us on. We are an AI forward company that seeks to constantly grow and empower our employees with the skills necessary to evolve.
The role
You'll be the person our brand lives through visually. Catalogs, events, campaigns, email, retail, digital. You'll take creative direction from our Co-Founder and Creative Director and translate it into work that's tight, on-trend, and worth screenshotting. You'll report to our Marketing Lead day-to-day, who will own your briefs, priorities, and growth.
You'll own
- Art direction and design for TOV marketing campaigns, catalogs, events, and retail
- Brand systems: templates, guidelines, asset libraries
- Print-ready production for catalogs, signage, event collateral
- Testing AI design solutions and initiatives
- Campaign creative from concept through delivery
- Eventually, hiring and mentoring a Junior Designer
You are
- Formally trained in graphic design (degree or portfolio that shows the rigor)
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite. Canva is an additional tool, but not your only skillset
- Production-literate. You know what a print-ready file looks like and you've prepped catalogs, signage, or packaging before
- A problem solver who asks sharp questions up front instead of guessing and redoing
- Culturally tuned in. You care about what's happening in design, interiors, and the feed
- Comfortable in fast-moving environments where priorities shift, as long as you're given context
- AI Forward and looking to constantly evolve and adapt with new technologies in design
Bonus points
- Experience in furniture, home, interiors, DTC, or lifestyle brands
- Motion and After Effects fluency
- A real POV on trending aesthetics within Gen Z and Millennial Audiences.
