Front of House Team Member/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they have a positive dining experience from the moment they walk in. You will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our front-of-house services, including cash handling, customer service, and maintaining cleanliness.

Duties

• Greet and assist customers as they enter the establishment, providing a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using a POS system.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently (in person, over the phone, or via POS system).
• Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accurate cash register operations.
• Restock and maintain supplies in dining, service, and bathroom areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including bussing tables, cleaning surfaces and floors, maintaining cleanliness in bathrooms to ensure a sanitary and well-supplied environment.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Ensure food safety standards are met while serving food and beverages.
• Assist with food service duties as needed, including restocking supplies.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous Front of House (FOH) or customer service experience preferred, but not mandatory.
• Strong cash handling skills with proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help colleagues as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
