Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and attention to detail.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety protocols.
- Assist in food preparation and serving of light snacks or baked goods while adhering to food safety standards.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous barista experience in a café or food service environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and food handling procedures.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management.
