Trolley Pub is looking for outgoing, energetic people to drive our pedal-powered party bike through the streets of Madison. You're part driver, part party host, part tour guide, and 100% the reason our guests have the time of their lives.
Every shift is different. One tour might be a bachelorette party hitting the best bars on the Capitol Square, and the next could be a corporate team out for a sunset pub crawl. If you thrive on making people laugh and keeping the energy high, this is your gig.
What you'll do:
- Drive a 14-person pedal-powered party bike on guided 2-hour pub crawls through Madison
- Greet guests, run check-in, lead the pre-tour safety speech, and set the vibe for the ride
- Navigate the route, manage bar stops, and keep the group safe and having fun
- Maintain the vehicle: pre-tour inspections, post-tour cleanup, and reporting any issues
- Be the face of Trolley Pub: upbeat, professional, and in control
What makes a great driver:
- Outgoing personality - you're the type of person strangers want to talk to
- Comfortable commanding a group of 14 people and keeping their attention
- Cool under pressure - you can enforce rules while keeping the party going
- Service industry experience (bartending, serving, tour guiding, hospitality) is a huge plus
- Acting, music, comedy, or entertainment background? Even better.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUIs, suspensions)
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Available evenings and weekends (this is when the fun happens)
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable and punctual - guests are counting on you
