Overview
Adjunct is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of the college or academic department.
Responsibilities
• Teaching one class session each week• Holding office hours for one hour each week• Preparing lectures, assignments, assessments, and course material as needed for the course• Grading assignments, projects, papers, presentations, and/or exams and providing students with valuable and timely feedback• Developing or updating modules in Canvas to enhance the student learning experience
Qualifications
• Master’s degree, Ph.D. preferred• At least 3 years of teaching experience on subject matter• Experience with LMS such as Blackboard or Canvas
