Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with menu selections
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, including cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining spaces and café counters
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Assist in stocking supplies and managing inventory levels
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance their experience
- Uphold a positive team environment by supporting colleagues as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential
- Familiarity with retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as required
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
