Outpatient Mental Health Therapist (Masters-Level)Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled, autonomous, and collaborative Masters-Level Mental Health Therapist to join our growing small group behavioral health practice. This position is ideal for a clinician who thrives on professional independence, values team collaboration, and is looking for a flexible, highly rewarding fee-split compensation structure.
As part of our team, you will provide outpatient psychotherapy while collaborating closely with other licensed therapists and our medication management providers to deliver holistic, high-quality care. This is a hybrid position requiring at least 50% of services to be conducted in-office, with the flexibility to work the remainder remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Excellence: Provide evidence-based outpatient psychotherapy to a diverse caseload of clients (individuals, families, or groups, depending on your clinical focus).
- Independent Practice: Manage your own clinical caseload and maintain autonomy over your therapeutic approach while aligning with best practices.
- Team Collaboration: Actively collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including other licensed clinicians and medication management providers, to ensure coordinated client care.
- OAR Compliance: Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical records—including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes—in strict accordance with Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) and ethical standards.
- Schedule Management: Create, manage, and maintain your own client schedule to optimize both client care and your personal work-life balance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid license to practice independently in the state of Oregon (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW). Strong certified associates nearing full licensure may be considered depending on experience.
- Experience: Demonstrated ability to practice independently in an outpatient setting.
- Competencies:
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to work within a collaborative team environment.
- Commitment to cultural competence and ethical practice.
