Postion Summary
Tougaloo College---a private four-year co-educational institution in Jackson, Mississippi---invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Business Administration beginning as early as Spring 2025 semester. The faculty position is in the Department of Economics which houses the major in Economics with emphases in Business Administration and Accounting. The selected applicant will be tasked with 1) teaching a full range of courses in the Business sequence, 2) advising students in the major and supervising research, including senior theses, 3) working with department/school faculty on the design and development of curriculum, and 4) serving on campus committees.
Experience/Qualifications
Candidates should have a doctoral degree in Business Administration. Teaching experience at a community college, four-year college, or university is preferred. The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and have a strong command in quantitative analysis. Grant writing experience will be an asset. Ability to work collaboratively and collegially with faculty and community organizations is also essential.
