Construction Site Superintendent

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Superintendent who is willing to travel to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Duties

• Supervise daily operations on the construction site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Coordinate and schedule project activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Manage subcontractors and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed to maintain productivity and quality.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as required.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management or as a Site Superintendent in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices related to construction sites.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Attention to detail and quality control
• Effective communication skills
• Must be able to shoot grades and elevations
• Good physical health
• Reliable transportation
