What are the responsibilities and job description for the Med Tech/Caregiver 2nd & 3rd Shift position at Touchstone of Mayville?
Touchstone Mayville is a small, person-centered CBRF serving up to 10 adult residents with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Touchstone of Mayville Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
- Administer medications per training and facility policy
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Engage residents in recreational and social activities
- Support behavioral and emotional needs in a respectful, positive manner
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment
- Document care provided and report changes in resident condition
- Collaborate with team members, families, and healthcare providers
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous caregiving or CBRF experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license preferred (depending on shift duties)
- Ability to pass a background check and health screening
- CBRF certifications (Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, Medication Administration, First Aid/Choking) – preferred but can be obtained after hire
