Summary:
Experienced Lead Bartender skilled in bar management, inventory control, and staff development. Successfully trained and mentored new bartenders, improving overall service efficiency. Expert in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, contributing to a positive and productive bar environment.
Essential job functions:
- Oversee bar operations
- Train new hires on drink preparation, company policies, service standards, FOH operations
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Cocktail development
- Monitor inventory and stock levels
- Manage cash accurately and responsibly
- Take orders, serve guests, bus dishes, clean tables and facility
- Resolve customer complaints, handle disputes, and address operational challenges effectively.
- Assess member/guest needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Check member/guest identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Prepare drink orders according to specified recipes using measuring systems.
- Attend to tables in the dining area.
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
- Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks.
- Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
- Restock bar with liquor and supplies.
- Transport supplies to bar set-up area.
- Wash soiled glassware.
- Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area.
- Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
- Process all payment methods.
- Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
- Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
- Complete closing duties.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Requirements
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk and crouch
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
Qualifications:
- State required alcohol seller server certification.
- Requires ability to frequently lift/move up to 30lbs.
- Previous cash handling experience required.
- State required Food Handler's certification.
- Lead bartending experience.
