Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Charlotte, NC. The Electrician will perform residential electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs, including wiring, panel work, lighting, outlets, and other home electrical systems. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing electrical issues, troubleshooting system failures, and ensuring all work meets safety standards and local codes. The role involves interacting with customers on-site, explaining findings and recommended solutions, preparing basic job documentation, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The Electrician will also collaborate with team members, follow company procedures, and use appropriate tools and equipment safely.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge of electricity and practical electrical work skills.
- Candidates should possess maintenance & repair skills, including the ability to perform routine service and corrective work on residential electrical systems.
- Candidates should possess troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of electrical engineering principles sufficient to interpret diagrams, plans, and specifications.
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by North Carolina regulations.
- Experience in residential electrical service work is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and reaching.
