Laundry Aide/Split shift
- Follow all instructions, safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and infection‑control procedures.
- Operate, clean, and care for all laundry equipment and automated dispensing systems.
- Handle, sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, and distribute laundry according to Community policies.
- Maintain proper water temperatures and use laundry chemicals efficiently and safely.
- Safely manage clean and soiled laundry to prevent cross‑contamination and loss.
- Keep the laundry area clean, organized, odor‑free, and ensure lint baskets are emptied regularly.
- Report damaged linens, malfunctioning equipment, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow waste‑disposal procedures, Residents’ Rights, and all Community policies.
- Work cooperatively with residents, families, visitors, and fellow team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
