Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Help with the setup and cleanup of dining areas before and after meal service.
- Deliver meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner, accommodating special dietary needs and restrictions.
- Monitor food inventory and report shortages or issues to the dietary supervisor.
- Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries properly.
- Follow all safety and infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
- Collaborate with dietary and nursing staff to ensure resident satisfaction and nutritional needs are met.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in food service or healthcare dietary setting is a plus.

- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
