The Ideal Candidate Will
- Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have at least two years’ experience in housekeeping management
- Have experience working as a housekeeper in a resort or retirement community, though this is not required
- Have a “can do” attitude towards their work and be passionate about maintaining a five-star site appearance
- Be able to read, write, and speak English in order to effectively communicate with residents and team members, and have the physical ability to perform tasks that require continuous walking, standing, bending, and lifting
- Be proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
- Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
- Must have a flexible availability to include weekend coverage
