You will hire, lead, mentor, train and develop our team of dining room staff, teaching them proper dining room etiquette and steps of service, meal handling procedures, and customer service skills so that every experience in our dining room meets and exceeds the Touchmark Gold Standard. You will also be responsible for scheduling and administrative tasks as needed.

- Demonstrate success in managing and motivating a team of employees
- Enjoys teaching, coaching and mentoring
- Have the ability to work and make decisions in high-pressure situations
- Have a strong understanding of dining operations
- Be well-versed with training and scheduling team members
- Possess the knowledge and/or ability to follow State and Federal regulations to meet all requirements and residents' rights
- Be willing to work weekends, evenings, holidays and special events as needed; have a flexible schedule
- Have a thorough understanding of what hospitality means and how to provide exceptional service with care and compassion
- Create wait staff scheduling
- Recommend changes to food products as necessary to enhance the dining experience and improve the company's profitability
- Supervising the closure of the dining rooms at the end of dinner
- Help maintain appropriate payroll budgeting
- Assist in managing kitchen and dining staff to achieve customer service and financial goals of dining department
- Help create a positive work environment in order to maintain low staff turnover
- Assist in coordinating front and back of house staff to create a seamless flow
- Be responsible for training and development of new wait staff
- Provide appropriate coaching and counseling to employees so they can perform job duties effectively
- Support the needs of the dining department
