As a Building Services Technician, you will assist the building services team in maintaining the community and the grounds, by providing repairs, renovation work, and routine maintenance as requested. As a Building Services Technician, you will assist the building services team in maintaining the community and the grounds, by providing repairs, renovation work, and routine maintenance as requested. Responsibilities Include
- Be knowledgeable about and promote environmental safety for yourself and others.
- Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when assisting residents, family members, team members, and visitors.
- Perform repairs, parts run, and preventative maintenance.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Education related to building maintenance or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience in building maintenance is strongly preferred.
- Have at least one (1) year of experience in a similar environment with strong knowledge of maintenance processes.
- Excellent communication skills, high level of accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Physically capable of turning, stooping, bending, stretching, pushing/pulling, moving equipment and furniture, and able to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Willing to learn CPR/First Aid certification.
- Be able to complete and follow the Touchmark Vehicle Safety Program.
- Be able to work both inside and outside year-round.
