Family Coordinator (Must have Relevant Degree and 1 Year of Experience)

Job Summary

• Engage families with services by conducting in-home visits and providing case management services.
• Identify community resources to support the needs of families.
• Facilitate meetings to develop family goals and plans.
• Prepare and complete case notes, reports, and other written materials.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with Allegheny County Children, Youth and Family Services and other community provider organizations.
• The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field with 1-year direct service experience working with children and families.
• Act 33, 34, and FBI clearances required
• Reliable vehicle, valid PA driver's license with excellent driving record, insurance and registration required
• Computer applications related to the work including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ability to meet documentation deadlines
• Salary: Commensurate with experience
