Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Touched By An Angel, Inc. This role is essential for delivering high-quality home health care services to our patients. The Registered Nurse will play a critical role in patient assessment, medication management, and overall care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.
• Administer medications and manage pain effectively according to prescribed plans.
• Develop and implement discharge plans for patients transitioning from hospital to home care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patients for signs of infectious diseases and implement appropriate interventions.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology.
• Experience with medication administration and pain management techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic is a plus.
• Ability to provide compassionate care to diverse patient populations including toddlers.
