Front of House Manager – Touch of Italy Lewes
Touch of Italy is seeking an experienced Front of House Manager for our Lewes location.
We’re looking for a hands-on restaurant professional who leads from the floor, delivers excellent hospitality, and keeps busy shifts running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily front-of-house operations
- Maintain a strong presence on the restaurant floor
- Ensure excellent service and promptly resolve guest concerns
- Manage reservations, seating, wait times, and guest flow
- Coordinate with the kitchen to maintain service timing
- Complete opening, closing, cash-handling, and manager procedures
- Monitor staffing levels, labor costs, and overtime
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and organization
- Ensure food-safety and responsible alcohol-service standards are followed
Qualifications
- Restaurant management or strong FOH supervisory experience
- Full-service, high-volume restaurant experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions during busy shifts
- Toast POS experience is a plus
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
