Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Injector to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Administer injectable treatments, including but not limited to Botox and dermal fillers, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine suitability for treatments and address any concerns or questions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of all procedures performed and patient interactions.
- Perform physical examinations as needed to evaluate patient health status prior to injections.
- Provide education to patients regarding post-treatment care and potential side effects.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current with best practices in aesthetic medicine and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards related to injectable treatments.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (RN or NP) in the state of practice.
- Experience in medical settings, particularly in roles involving patient assessment and care.
- Proficiency in basic life support techniques.
- Familiarity with medical records management systems.
- Skills in performing physical examinations and ostomy care are preferred.
- Experience with dementia care, infant care, hospice palliative medicine, suturing, and IV insertion is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene.
