SUMMARY: TOTO is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Market Development Manager to drive market penetration and achieve ambitious sales targets within an assigned geographical territory in the Southeast US. This critical role will focus on promoting TOTO's advanced EcoPower hands-free flush valves, faucets, soap dispensers, and hand dryers. The ideal candidate will excel at building strong relationships with Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) professionals, facility decision-makers, and strategic partners, consistently highlighting the value proposition of TOTO's water-conserving, hygienic, and technologically advanced solutions, including our cutting-edge IoT program for commercial applications. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Territory Management & Sales Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to increase market share and achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory. Manage the full sales cycle, from proactive lead generation and robust pipeline development to closing deals through our valued distributor partners. Focus on medium to large construction and renovation projects, ensuring TOTO products are specified by Facility Owners, Managers, and Plumbing Engineers. Successfully manage and achieve territory Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet and exceed company objectives. Partner & Customer Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative, and long-lasting relationships with MRO professionals, Facility Decision Makers, Distributors, Wholesalers, and Plumbing Engineers. Champion TOTO's EcoPower product line, effectively communicating its benefits in water conservation, enhanced hygiene, and the superior value of TOTO's technological innovations. Actively promote and upsell TOTO's commercial IoT program, showcasing its smart technology for improved efficiency, predictive maintenance, and system monitoring. Conduct compelling sales presentations, impactful product demonstrations, and informative training sessions for key stakeholders. Market Intelligence & Reporting: Maintain a keen understanding of competitive sales trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies within the territory. Possess and maintain up-to-date knowledge of sales prices, product availability, production schedules, and TOTO's sales policies. Utilize Salesforce CRM for daily and weekly reporting, meticulously managing customer interactions, and accurately tracking all sales activities. Compliance & Operations: Ensure all documentation and operational procedures adhere strictly to ISO policies, including Environment Management System and Quality Management System requirements. Maintain professional memberships and actively participate in relevant industry associations and groups to foster professional development and network expansion. Travel & Collaboration: Travel extensively within the assigned territory, covering major metropolitan areas in Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and other regions as directed, requiring frequent overnight stays. Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and company meetings as required to represent TOTO and engage with the market. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field. Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of progressive sales experience specifically within the Commercial Plumbing and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) industry. Location: Must currently reside within a commutable distance of a major airport in the Southeast United States. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas in the commercial building materials or plumbing sector. Hands-on experience with Salesforce or other robust CRM software platforms. Familiarity with IoT solutions and their application in commercial building management systems. REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and negotiation strategies. Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal, with the capacity to articulate complex solutions clearly.
