Background
We are seeking experienced CFD Engineers to join our team near Columbus, Ohio. The successful candidates will have a proven background in managing CFD Projects. They will have strong analytical skills, be detail-conscious, and work methodically in compressed timescales and to rigid deadlines. Work will require the application of CFD methodologies to a broad range of thermo-fluid problems across multiple industry sectors and will require proven skills in data analysis, problem solving, and project management.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior CFD Engineer, located in Dublin, OH. The Senior CFD Engineer will perform advanced simulations and analyses related to fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, and heat transfer. Other responsibilities include executing thermal and fluid performance evaluations, optimizing designs through CFD simulations, and supporting the development and enhancement of CFD processes and methodologies. The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, handling complex engineering challenges, and providing innovative solutions that meet client specifications and performance goals. Candidates will also have opportunities to contribute to mentoring and knowledge sharing within the team.
Job Qualifications
- Manage Projects and work of other CFD Engineers
- Coordinate with external development teams and Customers.
- Prepare Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations, post-process the results, and disseminate to internal and external teams.
- Contribute to the improvement of CFD toolset and methodologies
- Experience in Fluid Dynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Thermal Analysis, Heat Transfer, and Aerodynamics would be great.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with hands-on experience in CFD simulations
- Strong technical communication skills and ability to present findings effectively
- Collaborative team player with a results-oriented mindset
Employment qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related Engineering field
- 8 years of experience in product development using experimental and CFD methods
- Proficient in the use of CAD, ANSA, OpenFOAM, STAR CCM , Fluent, EnSight
- Proven experience working in a result-driven environment
- Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident (green card holder)
