TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Newburgh, Indiana.

UNIT: TELE NEURO CARDIAC
CLINICAL INTERVIEW
Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Tele/Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience. Charge nurse experience preferred.
MUST have Cardioversion experience, will not be considered without.
Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
REQUIRED: NIHSS/dysphagia screen/strong neuro assessement skills. Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (TRAVELERS REQUIRED TO PASS TELE TESTS), Intitate/titrate drips (Insulin, cardiac, Heparin, etc.), heart cath recovery (fem. & TR bands). Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills!
PREFERRED: NG/PEG tubes, PIV insertion, Tikosyn doing, chest tubes.
Float Requirement: First to float within skillset. Potential to float to Henderson (KY – 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.
