Description:
The Patient Access Representative provides a range of services required to complete the registration activities of scheduled and walk-in patients seeking services in a variety of hospital inpatient, and outpatient settings including but not limited to the emergency room, diagnostic testing and procedures, and admissions to nursing units.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent, Two (2) years of relevant experience scheduling medical or psychiatric appointments in a clinical setting, Ability to schedule and prioritize workflow
Responsibilities
Schedules patient appointments for medication management, individual and group therapies, Knowledge of the principles and practices of clinical office management, Knowledge of medical terminology
