We are seeking a Hospital Medical Assistant for a travel assignment in Gilbert, Arizona
The Medical Assistant Certified/Registered will support the providers in delivering quality health care to patients and perform a variety of related tasks to promote continuity of care
Facility: One Medical: SanTan Village
Assignment Type: Travel - Standard
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 0800 to 1630
Hours per Week: 40.00
Work Style: Onsite
Responsibilities
- Prepares for patient visit by performing chart preparation
- Manages patient flow, including preparing rooms, patients in accordance with policies and procedures and rooming standards
- Performs tests/procedures as ordered
- Administers medications as ordered by provider including documentation
- Communicates with other providers to ensure continuity of care
- Obtains medical record release of information in accordance with HIPAA policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graduate of a medical assistant program or at least one year of medical assistant or equivalent experience
- CPR Certification
